As I approach the midpoint of my 35 day water cleanse I’ve come to many conclusions. I’m fasting for the rest of my life; I’m converting to veganism; my children will only eat organic foods; I’m a Yogi; and my goals I’ve set out to accomplish 49 days ago are becoming a reality. My spiritual awareness has increase significantly thanks to books by Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer and Carl Jung.
I’ve lost 53 pounds in 49 days and feel pretty good about that.
My goal is to lose 70 pounds in 70 days. This goal is well within my grasp. Besides the expected and usual side effects my health hasn’t been better. My blood pressure is 103/73 and my pulse is 73 bpm – not too bad. My skin has never been softer and teeth are super white. Everyone in our household has been sick at least once, some more, and I never caught anything. I’m not saying I’ll never be sick, but I like my chances. I use to be allergic to cats and now we have one; I never sneeze, sniffle or cough when I hold or am around the cat.
All of these occurrences can’t be coincidental. It has to be because I changed the foods I ate. Having said that, are the foods we eating slowly killing us? Do we think we’re eating healthy, when all our foods are toxic and causing us to get sick and have allergies? We’re eating meat injected with hormones, steroids and toxins; vegetables and fruit with so many pesticides that we taste them even after washing them 3 times. The canned foods we stock our cabinets with are filled with loads of food preservatives that they last for years.
Doesn’t anyone see this as not only odd, but just plain wrong? Treat yourselves and family better – stop buying these products and switch to organic food. Organic foods taste better and are priced comparably. You’ll feel better and live a more active life.
God Bless.

It sounds like an amazing experience! I’d like to do something like this, but I don’t want to lose any weight! I’m only 108 as it is! But I like the results you’re getting! Awesome!
Thank you for the support. Many thin people with low body fat fast – Ghandi did. I plan on doing a 40 day fast once a year after this one for my health, religious beliefs and soul. Try a shorter fast and see how it suits you. Best of luck.
