After five days my appetite is driving me crazy. I’m hungry. I think the answer everyone is thinking is, “Well, eat something!” That is exactly my point. The entire reason for my pre-fast and fast is to control my appetite. After I’m finished I won’t be tempted for that midnight snack or candy bar in the checkout line or a 2 a.m. pizza. I’ll have full control over our most carnal instinct; the need to eat and eat and eat.
Currently 64% of American adults are overweight or obese.
In other words, they lack the control to make wise decisions in regards to what they consume on a daily basis. There is something very wrong with our society if we cannot control what we put in our mouths. No other country in the world has numbers as staggering as the United States. My fasting is a commitment to my health and the example I want to set for my children. If you’ve been following my progress I highly recommend researching and following through on fasting and reaping the benefits I am currently living.
I’ve lost 42 pounds in 40 days; obviously, the only thing you will do is lose weight and change your life.
