Three days into my fast and I’m feeling no different than I have in the recent past. The last 9 days of my Eden diet sufficiently prepared me for the beginning stages of my fast. I’m guessing eating 250 calories and 0 calories is really no different for my body. I feel slightly sluggish around 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., but my research tells me this will subside after 14 days. I’m extremely fortunate not to experience the regular symptoms of a fast: headaches, extreme fatigue, and a ferocious appetite. I have notice some dandruff and spots of acne other than that the other warnings haven’t surfaced as of today.
My appetite has been more apparent than over the last 35 days. I’ve been able to control it with some breathing exercises and meditating.
I’ve also begun a different exercise regimen. I walk every day and for 35 minutes. The more exercise the better. Exercising aids in the cleansing process; it assists in releasing the toxins from the tissues and into the blood stream. I’m beginning to incorporate Yoga into my daily routine starting today and haven’t made up my mind if I will stop the walking and just do my Yoga. I’ll know after today.
My Eden diet has greatly assisted in preparing me for the fast and I highly recommend anyone considering fasting to first prepare themselves by partaking in the Eden diet.
So far, so good.
