I was headache free all day. I was even able to carve out a little time to go see a movie – it was fun. Besides the news of not having a headache, the day was pretty uneventful.

Although, I should add that being around so much food and not eating was challenging today. My kids had blueberry pancakes this morning and for dinner it was spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. I was extremely tempted during dinner to eat something with salt! I have to say that is my biggest craving – salt. Right now I can eat an entire sleeve of saltines without having any disregard at all. I’m not though. This Cleanse is about controlling my appetite and not giving into temptation.

I’ve also experienced a fair amount of spiritual clarity as well. The times when temptation takes hold of me, I just leave the room and think about the spiritual journey as well as regaining control of my most primal urge and I persevere.

Salt, really isn’t important at all.

I’m reading a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer, Your Sacred Self, and there is a sentence in the beginning under, Suggestions for Meeting the Challenge of Freedom – “Think of yourself as limitless as you make a new agreement with reality”. Basically, it means to picture yourself able to accomplish anything your mind can envision. I’m allowing my beliefs to be changed. No longer am I going to let a Standard American Diet lead me through what I should and should not consume on a daily basis. I’m changing my prior beliefs.

I’m transcending my current reality – feels good.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns please let me know. I would love to hear what you think on this entire subject. Thank you for reading.
