Today was a great day. I really didn’t expect to feel this comfortable five days into the Pre-cleanse. The lemon enema last night really helped in carrying away much of the toxins that were giving me the headaches. I also exercised today. I walked 2 miles. I had small headaches in the late afternoon but, after I exercised it went away. Proof that exercising releases toxins from your body, in other words, everyone should be doing some sort of exercise every day.

Following this kind of diet really hasn’t affected my parenting at all. I’m pretty even tempered person to begin with and haven’t deviated from my usually personality at all. There is no reason why the rest of the Cleanse should go as smooth as it is going so far.

I read some pretty crazy stuff online regarding a person that fasts for over 160 days at a time. I thought I was being extreme.  In fact, he fasts for so long that he experiences severe hair loss due to the drop in estrogen in his body – WHOAH! The good news is after he stops his hair grows back thicker and lusher than before he fast. Maybe, you follicle challenged men out there should give it a shot? To each his own, I guess.

On a professional note, my writing is more focused. I think instead of me going over and over my work I put it on paper and move quicker through my process. I know that I have very little time before my energy dips or I lose focus, so when I’m moving at a good pace – I’m moving fast. I had a writing assignment due yesterday. The overall process usually takes me a day at the most and this one took me 2 full days. Concentrating was very difficult and I had to walk away from computer many times to drink water, water and more water. I feel great though knowing I don’t need caffeine to wake me up in the morning.

Did I mention how well I’ve been sleeping? I haven’t slept this good in years, I actually wake up not feeling groggy or tired. I also need less sleep. Don’t get me wrong there are times during the day I could use a nap, and if possible I do, but I only had an opportunity once and it was on the first day.  After the first day I couldn’t because, well, I’m a single parent.

I’m still going strong and I remain committed to my goal of the 35 Day Water Cleanse as soon as these pre-cleanse symptoms go away. If they continue I’ll just do it for 35 days and then go into the Water Cleanse. If you have any comments, concerns or cleansing stories you would like to share please do. Thanks for reading.
